Welcome to the
historic dining rooms of Restaurant Künstlerstübele Oste Scuro/Finsterwirt. For almost 300 years, we have indulged our guests with
delicacies from our kitchen and cellars. Politicians, artists, scholars, scientists and researchers were and are welcome guests in our hotel – even the Pope himself stayed here several times. The Mayr family feels a traditional obligation to uphold the values of the past with passion and bring them into the future. The wooden wall panels, original paintings, historic weapons and valuable glass windows have never been touched. The contemporary courtyard
terrace is new. This addition harmonically adapts to the historic structure all around. The transition flows and adds the hotel. Particularly during the summer months, on a warm summer’s evening, it is the perfect place to enjoy an exquisite meal under the loggia. During the summer, you can also dine on our new
courtyard terrace.
